Description

We offer organic Rose Centifolia hydrolate for cosmetics, obtained from the flowers of the species Rosa centifolia The liquid is known as Rose Provence organic hydrolate for cosmetics. According to modern botanical classification, the species belongs to the family Rosaceae. The harvested mass comes from plantations in Bulgaria that are maintained year-round. Its clear appearance shows a tint between colorless and slightly pink, since only a small part of the flower pigments passes into the water. The faint coloring comes from the petals, as the aqueous medium absorbs only a small part of their pigments during the steam treatment of the harvested flowers. The scent unfolds strongly and lastingly, and its refreshing direction is evident throughout its development to the finish. The strength of the scent remains high to the end. The raw material comprises the petals of fresh flowers that come from the organic plantations in the same region of the country. Rose petals have no glandular hairs, and the volatile substances are released from the two epidermal layers of the petal tissue. Water-steam extraction transfers this fraction into the aqueous phase, so the aromatic profile of the liquid remains true to the flower. The described constituents of the aqueous phase of this species include phenylethyl alcohol, geraniol, citronellol and nerol. The rose gardens in the region are maintained according to organic practice, under which pests are controlled without chemical agents and the soil remains without artificial fertilization. The finished liquid contains only water and aromatic substances from the flower, and no added preservatives or colorants enter it, as is evident in the liquid itself. In addition, the harvested flowers reach processing soon after picking, since fresh tissue better preserves its aromatic substances. The pure composition links the scent solely to the fresh petals. Rose Centifolia leaves in this liquid a strong and long-lasting aromatic development with a light pink tone.
